The show must go on! After playing in Nederland 3 last Friday, Broshim is happy to announce that there are more shows coming up this winter. Broshim will be playing at De Pater, Saturnus, De Boerderij and De Paap. Check out "Gigs" for more details.

The perfomance at The Bazart was a succes. Broshim would like to thank the ones who were there to support them! Hope you enjoyed the new song "Friend in Need" and the slightly refreshed "Visually Challenged".

New performancedates will be revealed late November/December. Currently the band is still in preparation for the recording of the upcoming demo and the collaboration with 'Lunar'.

The next Broshim-performance will be on friday October 19th at The Bazart (the Hague). Broshim will be the support-act of US-band 'Chaotic Past'. Show starts at 21.00. Entrancefee f 5,00.

During the next few months Broshim will be preparing and rehearsing songs for the recording of a new demo. These recordings are sceduled for januari/februari 2002. There are also plans for a collaboration with 'Lunar', a band from The Hague. More news about this subject will follow...

Today is the release-date of the BROSHIM live-cd! This cd contains 7 songs which have been recorded at Radio Tiel earlier this year. Tracks on the cd are for instance: "Visually Challenged", "Heart's Desire" and "Airvox". If you would like to order/receive a copy of the album just send an email to broshim@hotmail.com
(price f 10,00 NLG ex. forwarding charges). The cd can also be purchased at the performance at the PAAP (the Hague/18-9).

Broshim has been asked to coöperate with other local bands for the release of a forthcoming compilation-cd. This cd will contain songs of talented bands (Lunar, Janika, Dollhouse Drama) from the region The Hague. More info about the compilation-cd will follow.

The broadcast of the Radio Vokabel-interview has been cancelled for unknown reasons. Another interview has been planned for Radio Ridderkerk. The recordings for this program will take place next Saturday. During oktober Radio Ridderkerk will frequently be playing one of the BROSHIM-tracks of the live-cd.

The broadcast of the Broshim-interview, recorded last Saturday/radio Vokabel, will be upcoming Saturday September 8th. As mentioned before; switch your tele to the 'Info-thuis' channel between 18.00 - 19.00 hours and listen to what Stefan and Marten had to say about the ins and outs of the band! During the interview there will be live-impressions of "Heart's desire", "Invincible" and "Visually Challenged".

Broshim has been asked to participate at the Ambitious Demo Festival at the Musicon inThe Hague, September 14th. There will also be performances by three other bands/musicians ('Beg for Mercy'). During this half-hour show there will be video- and audio-recordings! The band will get a mastered copy of the full-length audio-recordings and a videotape that contains a selection of three songs. For this night we need YOUR support! Why? Well, what's a live recording without an audience?! So come on and enjoy the music of Broshimand other local artists and be a part of the live-recordings!
Tickets for the Festival cost fl. 10,00 and can be ordered at Broshim@hotmail.com .. but don't hesitate because there are a limited amount of tickets available!!

Further news; the scheduled broadcast of the Broshim radio-interview at Radio Vokabel (September 1st) has been postponed to another date. The exact date of the broadcast will follow shortly.

Gustav and Broshim have decided to end their collaboration. Gustav is no longer the band's manager. As a consequence Broshim also decided to cancel their planned trip to New York.

The band would like to thank Gustav for all the time and effort he has put in the band over the past year.

As mentioned before Reinder and Stefan will be giving an interview for Radio Vokabel on thursday august 30. The broadcast of the interview will be on television at saturday september 1st. If you are interested in hearing what the guys from Broshim have to say or just want to listen to some live-recordings...then tune your television to the channel 'Infothuis' at 18.00!!

Further news: another gig has been added to the 'Broshim-tour'. On saturday september 15th Broshim will playing at rockcafe Franse Bulldog / Le Havre (Scheveningen). The show will start at 21.30. For more info see GIGS.

The next on-stage performance of Broshim will be on tuesday, september 18th, at De Paap (The Hague). The band will be playing with fellow The Hague-musicians 'Tomahawk', who brings some pure heavy rock-music! More info about this gig to follow.

Currently Broshim is preparing the release of a live-cd, recorded at Radio Tiel, may 2001, which contains 7 tracks. Some of the songs featured on this cd will be:

On friday the 13th of July (nice date) Broshim will be playing at rockcafé De Pauze (Ter Heijde). The location of this café is at the beach. So if the weather is on our side, this could be a very cool gig! Lots of sun in combination with the music of Broshim... could you ask for more?

The Forum had a mayor update. You can sent private messages now and the Forum got a flashy new design. So knock yourself out!!

Today is the launch of the renewed Broshim-website! The band is very content with the new look and setup of the site.. it took a while, but finally it is ready! Further news: The first upcoming stage-performance of the band will be on July 13th. The band will be playing at the 'Pauze', Ter Heijde. On the 30th of August the band will also be giving an interview for a radiostation called 'radio vokabel'. More about the interview later!

Live performance in the '22' in Tiel. Broshim was invited to play in the radio show 'Ludwig Von' and this was recorded and broadcast on three different Radio stations.

Yet another performance in the Musicon, this time together with Thump, a starting band from The Hague. A part of the show was recorded and filmed for the livebands website. On this site you can see the band perform 'Insane?' and 'Center of Attention' or listen to an interview they gave.

Performance with Chaotic Past in Pijnacker in the Trucker.

Broshim was added to the livebands website. This site gives a nice summary of starting bands in The Hague. You can find lots of info on this site, including sound samples and video footage.

An interview with Broshim was broadcast on '94.0 Stads Radio Den Haag'. Bastiaan and Stefano were in the studio with Gerard v/d IJssel. They played 'Insane?', from the Broshim demo in this show.
